My name is Evan, and I'm a UX/UI Designer based out of New York. I completed CareerFoundry's courses in both UX and UI design, which helped lay a strong foundation for my design career.
After completing my studies, I worked for different agencies and freelance clients. This helped me gain both real world and valuable experience in user research, user interface design and prototyping.
I've learned a lot of lessons so far, but I would say these two are the most valuable:
1. Users will have a hard time not loving your product if you conduct the proper research, and use that research to guide your decisions throughout the design process.
2. Great designs may not get the most likes and attention on Dribbble, but they are easy to navigate and have no points of friction. A lot of the time, less is more.
In my free time I like to go the gym, snowboard and spend time with my nieces and nephews.
